Career
VJ Archana started her career as an anchor at Aditya TV, which is a part of SUN Network. She then associated with Vijay Television. She made her television debut in 2020 with the Tamil TV serial Raja Rani 2 in which she played the role of Archana. The serial aired on Star Vijay and also streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.

In the same year, she appeared in the Tamil short film Kanave. In 2021, she participated in the Tamil reality TV show ‘Murattu Singles Manmadhan’ along with Yashika Anand and Lallu. She then appeared in the Tamil web series Enaku Kalyana Vayasu Vanthuduchu (2021).

She made her Tamil film debut in 2023 with the horror/thriller film Demonte Colony 2 in which she played the role of Arulnithi’s sister.

In the same year, she appeared in the Tamil web series Aval Ennaval. On 29 October 2023, she entered the house of the reality TV show Bigg Boss Tamil season 7 as a wild card contestant. The show aired on Star Vijay and also streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.

She emerged as the winner of the show on 14 January 2024. She became the first wild card contestant to win the show in the history of Bigg Boss Tamil. Archana was awarded a trophy and a prize money of Rs. 50 lakh.
