Yashaswini Singh Deswal is an Indian professional shooter. She is famous for winning a gold medal at the 2019 ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janeiro in the 10-metre air pistol event. Yashaswini represented India on a reserved quota at the 2020 Summer Olympics. In 2021, her name was announced by the government of India for participation in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in shooting sport, which was earlier postponed due to the breakdown of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Career
In 2012, Yashaswini Singh Deswal got inspired to opt for shooting as a sport when she watched the 2010 Commonwealth Games in India. In the same year, Yashaswini Singh Deswal began participating in shooting at school national level championships and earned her first gold medal in Pune, Maharashtra. In 2014, at Nanjing, China, Yashaswini Singh Deswal received the opportunity to participate in the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics and in the final 10-metre air pistol event, she finished at the sixth round. In 2015, Yashaswini Singh won a gold medal in the Asian Airgun Championship in Delhi along with her teammates Heena Sidhu and Shweta Gwande. After winning this championship, she received the title of ‘junior national champion’ of India in the shooting. In 2016, at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany, she won two silver medals, one in individuals and one in the team event. In another event at Qabala, Azerbaijan, in the same year, Yashaswini Singh won a gold medal in the team event at ISSF Junior World Cup. Yashaswini Singh Deswal clinched a gold medal at the 2016 South Asian Games in the team event; however, she earned a bronze in an individual event. In 2017, won a gold medal at the ISSF Junior World Championship by marking her world record of 235.9 in the 10-metre air pistol event in the junior shooting event. In 2018, at the Kumar Surendra Singh Championship, Yashaswini Singh Deswal clinched a gold medal in the mixed air pistol events along with his partner Abhishek Verma.
In 2019, Yashaswini Singh Deswal clinched a gold medal at the ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janeiro. On winning this event, she gained a quota position for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Yashaswini defeated her opponent Olena Kostevych, who was a former world and Olympic Champion in the final round at ISSF World Cup at Rio de Janeiro in 2019.
