Davy Grewal was born as Davinder Grewal on 27 August in Haibowal Kalan, Ludhiana, Punjab. His zodiac sign is Virgo. He completed a Bachelor of Arts from S.C.D. Government College, Ludhiana in 2007. In 2011, he pursued an LLB at Punjabi University, Patiala. He then received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Job
In 2013, he started working as a manager at an orphanage in Kharar, Punjab. He resigned from the job after working there for almost two years. In 2015, he started practising as an advocate in district courts. He has also been the joint secretary of the District Bar Association in Ludhiana. He has practised as an advocate at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

Davy Grewal started his acting career with a theatre group at Punjabi Bhawan, Ludhiana in 2015. He worked there as a theatre artist for almost six years. He has performed in various theatre plays such as ‘Malham’ (2016), ‘Bhramjaal’ (2018), ‘Ek Bechara Bachpan’ (2018), and ‘Teri Jaat Kya’ (2018).

In 2017, he appeared in the music video of the Punjabi song ‘Graribaaz,’ uploaded on the YouTube channel Jass Records.

He essayed the role of Vijayraj Singh Chima in season 2 of the Punjabi web series ‘Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree’ in 2022. The web series was premiered on the YouTube channel Troll Punjabi.

He appeared in Randeep Hooda starrer Punjabi web series ‘CAT’ (2022), which was streamed on the OTT platform Netflix. In May 2022, he was featured in the Punjabi music video ‘Asal Tath.’ He also worked as a director for the music video.

Grewal has also acted in a few Punjabi short films such as ‘Farz’ and ‘Cheers.’ In 2023, he made his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Animal’ in which he played the role of Sangram Singh.

- While practising as an advocate, he decided to pursue his passion for acting. He started working as a theatre artist at Punjabi Bhawan in Ludhiana after his duty hours. While talking about it in an interview, he said,
I used to be at court from 9:30am to 4:00pm and then pursue theatre from 6 pm onwards.”
