Prisha Lokesh Nikajoo is an Indian toddler who gained recognition for being the youngest climber to reach the Mount Everest Base Camp, which is located at an altitude of 17.6k ft. She achieved this remarkable feat at the age of 5 on 20 June 2023.

Prisha Lokesh Nikajoo was born on Thursday, 9 November 2017 (age 5 years; as of 2022) in Palava Phase 2, Dombivli, Maharashtra. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio. She originally comes from Prabhat Pattan, which is located in the Betul district of Madhya Pradesh. Her father relocated to Mumbai and started living with his family there.

Trekking
Prisha began trekking at the age of two. Her interest in trekking grew as her father shared his own passion for it. In an interview, her father mentioned that they go trekking together every weekend. Being a former trainee of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Lokesh has the knowledge and skills to guide Prisha during their treks. She has trekked several places including Sinhagad, Lohagad, Visapur, Karnala, Sondai, Kothaligad, Prabalmachi, Kalawantin, and Raigad. She also climbed Kalsubai Shikhar at the age of three. On 31 October 2021, she achieved a remarkable feat by setting a record when she reached the highest peak in Maharashtra, Kalsubai, in 3 hours and 16 minutes at the age of 3 years, 11 months, and 22 days. The achievement was shared by her father on the social media page of The Better India, where he wrote that ‘As per our knowledge, she may be the youngest girl to climb the Kalsubai peak.’
Alongside the announcement, a photo was shared showing Prisha holding a blue placard with a powerful message for giving every girl child a good start and encouraging them to reach the top.
On 20 June 2023, she made a record by becoming the youngest mountaineer to reach the base camp of Mount Everest, the world’s tallest peak. She accomplished this at the age of 5 years, 11 months, and 22 days. Over the course of 12 days, she successfully reached a height of 17,598 feet or 5,364 meters. In an interview, her father talked about her trek and said,
Prisha landed in Lukla (Nepal) and started the trek on May 24 with him and reached the Everest base camp on June 1, 2023, by proudly holding the Indian Flag and later returned to Lukla (Nepal) on June 4, 2023. It was an extremely difficult and high-altitude trek where many trekkers experience difficulty in breathing, headache and acute mountain sickness, but Prisha managed the difficulties well.”

- Her hobbies include doing Karate, playing table tennis, and swimming.
- In preparation for the Everest Base Camp, she and her father followed a daily routine of walking a distance of 5 to 6 miles. Additionally, she engaged in various physical activities such as aerobics, climbing the stairs of her apartment, and even scaling the walls in her garden area. These activities helped build her physical strength and endurance, ensuring she was well-prepared for the challenging journey ahead.
