She moved to Colorado with her family when she was a child and later attended Rifle High School. In 2009, she became a born-again Christian. She is best known for her far-right Republican views. Boebert is the owner of the restaurant Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colorado, where staff members openly carry firearms. She was cited for careless driving and operating an unsafe vehicle, in 2016. She was one of 21 House Republicans to vote against a resolution to give the Congressional Gold Medal to police officers who defended the U.S. Capitol, in June 2021. She was arrested and charged for “harassing and physically assaulting”, in 2004.
